To buy a fetal Doppler or not?

Can’t decide if I should get one for home? I am 10 weeks.

My doctor had such a hard time finding the heartbeat in office that I am fairly certain having one at home and not being able to find it would have just cause unnecessary worry. After baby was wiggling around I used that as my indicator

We absolutely loved ours, especially in the beginning. Early on I was the only one allowed at appointments and hearing the heartbeat over a recording just isn’t the same for my fiancé. They’re worth the investment, but as with everything always use caution 💕 I would ask your doctor or midwife they’re recommendations based in the status of your pregnancy.

As of now I personally would as in my area only the mother is allowed at prenatal appointments so I’d love for my husband to be able to hear the heartbeat in person. If that changes before I get pregnant again then I probably won’t get one as I never felt the need for it

I don’t recommend them, but if you’re going to I’d wait till you know placenta position. I had one and have had anterior placenta every time and just got me worried I couldn’t find anything but blood flow, gave up in the end
