Glucose test at 12 weeks and at 27+ weeks

Hello so my last pregnancy I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes after the 3 hour test. My fasting number came out 2 points higher than the cutoff but all other numbers were fine. This pregnancy they had me test early at 12 weeks or 14 weeks I can’t remember and I did the 1 hour test. That came out fine I was lower than the cut off. They said I would have to retest again at 27 weeks. I just hit my 27 weeks yesterday so I know I have to go get it done soon. I’ll have to do the 1 hour again. Is there anyone who passed the early test at 12-14 weeks and then failed at 27+ weeks? Or anyone that passed both? I just want to hear your experience and what you did to prepare. Thanks!

UPDATE- so I did my 1 hour glucose test yesterday, (29 weeks) and I passed! Yay! I guess it’s true that every pregnancy is different.
