Milk stash?

Does anyone have a stash going yet? If so how much?! I’m 3 weeks PP & I have about 4, 6oz bags so 24 ounces in the freezer!! Not much but I only just started to create a stash starting this week lol so when I go back to work I’ll stop bf but this way baby can still have some breastmilk. What’s your stash like?!

I’ve been using the haakaa for about 3 weeks now on the breast baby isn’t feeding on and I have about 70-80 bags in the freezer with anywhere from 1oz to 5oz in each - whatever decided to come out in the haakaa. I highly recommend starting using it if you don’t feel like pumping yet! I go back to work in January so I plan to use the haakaa until maybe December and then pumping to make sure she has enough for when I’m at work all day.

My baby was in the nicu for 2 weeks and he didn’t eat much in the beginning. But I was told if I pumped I could bring the frozen milk to him so I had started a small stash. Right now I’m about 4 days ahead

I have 3 week old twins and I can’t get ahead 😭 I pump every 3 hours (if they don’t tandem feed on me and take the bottle instead that feeding) and the twins are running me dry! I even have to supplement with formula.

I keep about a 3 day stash, about 12-14 bags. Any extra I have dropped off at the local birthing center for donation about once a week.

Your crushing it! I only just started and have 6 bags 3-3.5 oz each using just a cheap manual pump. Just ordered the medela swing flex dual pump so hoping I’ll be able to get more per session and go from 2 to 3 sessions a day. 
Question: are you getting 6oz per pumping session? Can I combine two different pumping sessions to freeze into one bag as long as I keep it refrigerated before adding the rest and freezing? The freezer bags aren’t cheap so I’d rather save more in each bag if I can

That’s awesome mama! I STRONGLY recommend getting as much breastmilk frozen as possible before going back to work! Hopefully it’s not the case for you but I lost my supply like crazy within a few months of returning to work with my first baby. I started the day we came home from the hospital and baby boy is going to be 3 weeks tomorrow. I have probably close to 50 bags with 6 oz each in our freezer. That’s with only using the haakaa, I haven’t even had to pump! 🤩 I keep teasing my husband that we’re going to need to buy another freezer just for lil guys milk 😂
