Missed miscarriage/blighted ovum

I'm in limbo, it sucks. No one can tell me yet whether I've lost my baby or not.

Started bleeding a little on Thursday night so went to get checked out. They took a hcg which was consistent with how far along i thought I was 7+3 at that point.

They sent me home for the night to come back for an ultrasound the following morning. Ultrasonographer couldn't find anything in the sac but was lots of blood and haematoma around so hard to be certain.

Consult with Obgyn revealed cervix still closed and uterus consistent with 6 week pregnancy.

Told I have to wait for follow up hormone levels on Monday and they a repeat scan next Friday...

I don't know what to feel, it's like I can't be sad yet because I don't know it's over and yet they have told me not to be optimistic...

Any one else stuck in limbo with me?? 😭
