When should I test?

I am 24 days PP and hubbs and I finally did it Monday night and it was amazing 😍 Then we had date night tonight and we’ll of course it led to sexy time. I am bleeding ever so lightly from delivery still. What’s the likelihood of getting pregnant this soon after giving birth? I know I have to wait several weeks before I test but do you think it’s worth it?
And yes hubbs and I want more babies so birth control, any form, is out of the question.

Just my opinion, your body needs time to heal before carrying another baby. Most medical professionals will advise that you wait at least 6 months to a year before trying to conceive again. The risk of infection this soon after delivery is so high and not worth it.

It’s recommended that you wait at least 12-18 months after having a baby before you get pregnant again.
You’re at a very high risk of complications if you get pregnant too soon.
You’re also very fertile after giving birth, so the chance of pregnancy is high.

With being so soon after birth you’re very fertile so test in two weeks. The fact that you’re still having postpartum bleeding should make you be very vigilant about signs of any infection. You have a dinner plate size wound in your uterus that is super susceptible to infection. Waiting the 6 weeks or as my ob said 2 weeks after all bleeding stops is actually extremely important for your health

24 days?? You’re not just risking pregnancy way too soon but you’re risking major infection due the massive wound you have in your uterus. 
Test in 2 weeks and make sure you share this with your doctor.

I will say, I got pregnant 8 weeks PP. My kids are 10 months apart. I personally didn’t have any complications but it depends entirely on the person in question.
