How to ask if he’s been tested??

This guy I am seeing would be the 2nd guy I’ve ever had sex with and I really really like him. I’m ready to have sex with him but before I do I should ask about his sti/std status right? How do I ask without seeming rude or like I’m insinuating that he has something. Please help!

I asked my (now) boyfriend before we had sex if he’d been tested recently and he said yes and I even asked to see the results! No rude at all! Your health is more important and if he’s got a problem with that then he’s not the one for you!! Real men care haha

My current boyfriend was insulted when I asked.... even when I made it as “I don’t think you have one, I just am ocd” as possible. 🤷🏼‍♀️ End of the day, your safety is worth the possibility of him getting upset. If he likes you enough, he’ll agree.

There’s nothing rude about being safe and this is a conversation you should’ve had BEFORE sex. 
“Look, I should’ve asked this beforehand but have you been tested recently? Can I see the results please or if you haven’t, let’s go together.”
