Glucose Tolerance Test?

Anyone else fail their 1-hour glucose tolerance test? Did mine this morning, checked my result online and I failed. 😩 
Just waiting for my doctor to call and tell me that I’m going to have to do the 3-hour test.

I had to go straight to the 3 hour at 11 weeks since I had it with my first pregnancy. A lot of people fail the first and pass the second. But if you fail you fail. It’s not a huge deal. You just have to make diet changes (and possibly medication), it’s not the end of the world.

🙋‍♀️ happened to me about 3 weeks ago. I took the 3 hour the next day and passed. What was your 1 hr level?

Yep! I failed it by quite a bit, but I just passed my 3 hour and did really well. Don’t panic yet. The 3 hour test seems awful but I hate hate hate needles and it was totally fine. Just stay relaxed during the test. If you are stressed it doesn’t help your body process the sugar (that’s what the nurse told me). Then if you do have gestational diabetes your doctor will help you and it will all be ok!

I failed my 1 hour test and passed the 3 hour. I was really worried I would get sick after fasting for so long but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought.

Yes I failed my 1hr. test on Monday and took the 3hr. yesterday and passed

I failed both, have GD for the third time. It is not a big problem. You will be fine even if you have GD.

I have failed with 2/3 pregnancy so far and always passed the 3 hour!
