If you are not religious or spiritual why are you on this page?

Question

I'm genuinely interested in why people who have no belief in any "God" are on this page and comment on people's post. I am Christian, but respect all religions and love learning about them, their views, beliefs, traditions etc. What I hate to see is people asking questions and people commenting things like sins aren't real, or doesn't matter there is no God etc. Just genuinely curious at the total hate for religion. I am 1/2 jewish (ethnoreligion so my ancestry DNA says 50% European Jewish) but have been atheist since I learned the word at 13. I had my first dating experience during quarantine and it was with a Pakistani Muslim guy with a British accent. We were looking to have a serious relationship but it would have been an uphill battle. I am quite interested in religion because I am faced with it all the time. It’s odd living in a country where lawmakers want to influence legislation with a religion that I have fundamental issues with. My dad and older sister are actually reform Jews but my brother and I lean heavily atheist. My sister passed last fall from MDMA. I have slightly fluctuated since then about what happens when we die, although my family will say Jews don’t believe in heaven or hell/afterlife. I have very strong negative feelings about Christianity and I know I will not allow my future kids to be raised in the church. I would only consider either no faith, or some mix of Judaism and Islam. It is common in mixed jewish families to have the non-jewish spouse convert so I would also consider converting to Islam if my previous relationship had gotten to that level. I think holy texts are hugely misinterpreted sometimes
