4 year age gap

I’m 18 and he’s 22, we’ve been getting to know each other for about 6 months now on a friends basis and recently in the past month we’ve been getting to know each other on a more personal level. He’s not all about going to parties and clubs. He’s more of a chill laid back type of person.. but what I’m getting at is I just don’t know how to tell my parents, I know they won’t “approve” they’ll look at his age and automatically just judge him based off his age. And I just don’t know what to do, or how to tell them. I don’t wanna be judged for wanting to be with him by my parents and I don’t wanna stop talking to him because of my parents . He’s the first guy to actually show me things so many guys my age never bothered to show me. Just please help. Give me advice or something🙁
