Am I a bad mom

I have a 9 month old and also work full time he is my first baby sometimes I sit on the couch and watch tv while he sits down and plays with his toys by himself (in the same room of course in front of the couch I’m sitting on so I can see him every second) but should I be interacting with him 24/7 instead of watching some tv it’s not all day it’s just for an hour if that I just don’t know and I’m kind of embarrassed to ask anyone I know that has kids like maybe it’s just something you should know automatically
