Help me understand!?

What’s the deal with being with a man that’s a deadbeat to his children. I don’t understand how women can be with a man that doesn’t take care of his children from a past relationship... but he will help take care of the female he’s with children. Can you be with a man like this?

I never thought I would date someone with a kid or kids. But my now husband has a son, but he was married for nearly 20 years and it’s not a drama like he didn’t take care of him. I couldn’t stand a guy like that. Someone I know dated a guy with at least 6 kids he knew of all with different moms. I’m like ‘uh no’. He hides from most of them cause he can’t afford to support them. No thanks.

Those types of dudes usually lie and make it seem like their child mom is keeping the kids away or some BS story like that. I personally wouldn’t date anyone with kids.
