D&C procedure

Hey ladies,

I had a miscarriage October 11th. My beta levels are 6.8 right now. So they are very low but still there. My doctor thinks that there is still tissue left behind and has ordered a ultrasound. The results should be on Monday. His assumption is that I will be needing a D&C. I am wondering what to expect. Will I be put asleep? Pain level? Bleeding after? During my miscarriage I passed a lot of clots. One containing a sac. As well I have had a “period” since. (Just finished today). I am just soo ready for this process to be through. Seeing a positive pregnancy test and knowing it’s not your rainbow baby is devastating.
