Covid +

Saiydah

I have two small children 7 months and two years old. I work as a nurse on a floor that doesn't allow admission of covid + patients. A coworker became ill and was tested therefore all staff who work with her were tested. My results are positive with cold symptoms mostly. Now I'm home for a week with the children. Both kids appear to have colds but might really be covid. I'm unable to get much sleep and I'm already exhausted. God help me !

That sucks. For the most part, kids recover from the virus. I’m wishing you all a healthy recovery 🙏🏾.

Reached out to my coworker who is also positive because I'm feeling really down about this diagnosis. I needed to talk to someone who is going through the same thing since I was feeling alone. She really helped me to feel better about things and of course nothing lasts forever. Its just so scary not knowing if you will get smell and taste back ect. I'm grateful my kids are still full of energy and seem to be doing well.

I tested positive on September 3rd. Lost my senses but could still eat anything and everything. Towards the end of January, I developed distorted taste and smell. I’m 3 months pregnant now and it has been so hard to eat adequately when everything tastes putrid.

I just went through this last week, also a nurse. I was probably the sickest I’ve ever felt tho, honestly thought I’d end up having to go in to the ER. So odd the variant acuity of symptoms. Not that you don’t know this but hydrate hydrate hydrate. Do online grocery drop off you can add extra little toys play doh crayons and things for the kids :)
