Am I the only one?
I absolutely loved everything about pregnancy and labour! Yes there was some pain and the normal headaches that came with it but I knew in the end I'd have a gorgeous baby that I would love and enjoy. I see a lot of women say how miserable it was and I guess everyone has their own experiences (100% no judgement) but am I the only one who enjoyed it?
Nothing was a picnic for me of course. I was diagnosed with PCOS and Fibromyalgia a few years ago so even conceiving was difficult. I had to be induced at 40 weeks due to my high risk and previous medical issues. I spent 3 days in the hospital until I finally had my water break late that 2nd night. I physically pushed with 1 minute breaks for 4 hours. I pushed so much my entire upper body muscles were sore for a few months. Ended up with 2nd degree tearing as well. So yes I had my fair share of hard times but that moment my daughter was laid on my chest everything else didn't matter anymore and I'd do it all over again. My daughter is now 1 year and I couldn't wish for a more perfect child.
So am I the only one who enjoyed it all?
Unfortunately some people do not get to experience it and for all who are currently TTC I wish them all the luck in the world!
