How to get rid of these scabs?

I left coconut oil in her hair overnight as I thought it would help.
She’s 6 months old and never had this until the last few months. Been trying everything! What is this? Cradle cap?

Looks like cradle cap. Baby frida makes a silicone brush that you use in the bath. Shampoo and then massage in the bath and it loosens it up. Then there is like a very fine tooth comb that you use to scape all the loose particles out. It takes a while for it to go away, but it’s completely normal.

Here’s what worked wonders for my babies.
At the beginning in bath I rub baby oil on their scalp and let it sit for 5 minutes while the baby kicks and plays. Then I take the baby silicone brush and just massage the scalp for a couple minutes. After that I just baby shampoo with the silicone brush to get most of the oil off. I would use the baby oil every other bath and my 2 weeks all the cradle cap was gone. 
I would also keep doing the oil periodically when I noticed dry skin on their scalp again.

It’s cradle cap. I tried everything for weeks. Finally I covered his head in baby oil and let it sit for about 20 minutes, then gave him a bath and lathered his head with baby wash and exfoliated with a soft baby brush. It hasn’t come back since then.

If you breast feed put breast milk on it before the bath. Use a brush to gently exfoliate. It may take a few days. That’s what I did with my daughter. Just make sure to exfoliate every bath.

That’s cradle cap and in my experience coconut oil made it worse. I just to a baby brush and baby soap when my little ones were being bathed and massaged their heads with the brush till it was gone 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️
