Baby is Transverse....😑

Im 37 weeks 1 day today, and I had already decided on a second csection, as I had a very hard delivery with my daughter which ended in an emergency csection.

But the doctor confirmed today that baby boy is transverse, and she said its very risky if I go into labor on my own, and the cord comes out first.....

But then they booked my csection for December 7th...two days before my due date...

Makes no sense to me, you'd think the sooner the better to avoid going into labor.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Makes me worry
