I’m disgusted if this is how he feels

My fiancé’s parents have been cut out from our lives and most importantly our children. Fiancé’s dad is a sexual predator there has been several incidents towards me when I was a teen and other women too. fiances mother enabled such behaviour and stands by him so they lost their privileges. They exposed their own kids to porn, sexual things that kids shouldn’t see.

My fiancé has a business relationship with his family because they work together but that’s it.

I’m 9 months pregnant with our second daughter and ready to have her any day now. This changes nothing with his family. His mother called tonight asking about the baby and what to buy for gifts for the baby when she’s born and Christmas gifts for both children.

I already don’t like accepting gifts from her. It puts me in an extremely difficult position where no matter how I handle it I’m the bad guy. I don’t want to lie to my children about who gifts are from, but I also don’t want to open a can of worms by confusing them saying their from your other grandparents who they don’t even know exist.

My anxiety is through the roof that when they get word my baby is born they will show up at my house bearing gifts. I would have a fucking panic attack. My fiancé is becoming more lenient by telling more and more information about my children and I feel they’re going to weasel themselves back in.

Anyway, my fiancé said “if you were to change your mind about letting my parents see our kids, I’d be ok with it”

And I’m furious. So he’d be ok with letting his child grooming, sexual predatory and perverted parents around his children as long as I was okay with it?

That just makes me feel like he was never on the same page as me 100% to begin with!

If it were the other way round, if my parents were the issue and my fiancé was suddenly open to the idea of putting our children at risk I would never be ok with that!!

I don’t even really know why I’m posting. I guess some advice might be helpful
