Miscarriage or No??

I’m feeling super confused, lost and sad 😔

My wife and I did at home insemination at the beginning of this month (first time ttc in our relationship...I’ve had previous miscarriages in the past).

Everything was going well during the tww and then on 8dpo I started spotting very lightly. Cycle wasn’t due until 12dpo, so I wasn’t too concerned at that time. Spotting continued next day, starting to worry. Then on 10 dpo my “cycle” came 2 days early.

My main point of confusion is the fact that my cycle didn’t behave it’s normal way in bleeding progression, extreme endometriosis induced pain, or even length. I’m typically 6-7 days...this lasted 4. But I’m still feeling these weird twinges in the uterus area that I was feeling during my tww and I keep getting off and on nausea all day long.

So now I’m confused as to if it never took and my cycle just came and went, if I had an early/partial miscarriage or if I am and my hcg levels are just too low to detect because of the questionable bleeding.

I don’t have anyone to talk to about this, so any help would be great. *I do have an appointment booked with a gp for this week*
