Am I right to be angry?!?

So my baby dad and I aren’t together. We talk here and there I’m 24 weeks mind you. We haven’t seen eachother since June after I told him I was pregnant. He texts me here and there I told him why hasn’t he come and see the ultrasound with me but his excuse is “ I live an hour away and work”. But all I’m asking is at least once a week or a month! He said because of covid and how he doesnt want to pass it to me if I have it. That if I need him to come I have to tell him weeks of ADVANCE. Now I have been diagnosed with covid and I’m at the hospital . All he did was text me and said that it’s my fault for catching covid because I was with my family. Am I wrong to get mad at him?!? I feel like if he wanted to see the baby via ultrasound he would....  he said he has lawyers which I believe because his family is wealthy but should I completely cut him off until he SHOWS that he is serious? I’m upset because I’m already 24 weeks!

I mean, he’s not wrong. He lives an hour away and works full time, he can’t just drop everything to run to your side on a moments notice. He asked for a couple of weeks notice, which is a standard time frame for asking for time off work. Coupled with the fact that you’re not even together, he really doesn’t HAVE to do anything. You can feel however you feel, but you have to get that reality isn’t allowing you to get what you want when you want it. 
Though his comment about you catching Covid was douchey. 
So some of the questions I have include why did you break up in the first place?  I feel like his texts were civilized considering the situation.

Why are y’all saying he doesn’t “have” to do anything for her 🤔 um she carrying his baby. Y’all love to normalize this oh just she’s pregnant doesn’t mean he has to do anything bs. Like huh? The man can come to at least one mf ultrasound and see his child. Now girl you had to be doing something you didn’t need to bc you’re sick rn but I feel you. Well he’s a completely rational human being making good points.  He has no obligation to the child until it’s born so until then appreciate that he seems like a somewhat decent person to co parent with when it is.  You’re text makes it sound like it’s all about you and what you want

I feel like he's right and there is a terrible double standard . He only has rights for a child when it is alive and breathing.  he doesn't to be at your beck and call all the time . He has his own life and obligations. If it was the other way around and he wanted to be at every appt and coming with you to everything but you didn't want him there all these post would be saying your body your choice right now.("HE DOESN'T HAVE A SAY UNTIL BABY IS BORN")  well I think that should be the same stance he doesn't have any obligations with you until the baby is born . Dont try to push him............ 
You have a right to have your feelings and want this and that from him but you have no right to exceed this from him.

Like most have ready said. Yall are not together hes not obligated to be by your side every single day. Seco day yea hes over an hour away, im sure he would love to be able to be at some Dr visits for ultra sounds. Do as he asked and let him know in advance so he can make the accomdistions at work to be there to see his baby. Your smart enough to know that. He has a whole job and a whole life and again over an hour away. Do t expect that man to drop everything because you tell him to. He still checks on you to make sure your ok what more can you ask for. He didn't just leave you high and dry and to raise a baby alone so time to calm down

He’s a deadbeat. He lives only an hour away. I worked full time and took care of my ill grandma everyday after work and she lived more than an hour away. I was tired but it was worth it. The ones who are justifying his actions are disgusting. She’s literally carrying his baby he needs to step the fuck up.
