28 week appt... Physical exam or no?

Good evening mamas! I have my 28 week appointment tomorrow... I've been mentally preparing for my glucose tolerance test, but just now I was thinking about whether or not I'll have a physical exam? I just googled it, and one thing I read said the 28 week appt they will do a physical exam where they test you for group b strep and all that fun stuff.

Did you have a physical exam at your 28 week appt? Just trying to gauge if I need to blindly attempt to groom whatever is going on below my belly, haha! Thanks!

Nope. Group B strep test is happening for me at 36 weeks. And just FYI, you can decline the cervical checks if you choose to. I've heard they just make people more anxious and unless you have a medical reason to be closely monitored, what's the point in having checks? Your cervix will ripen and open when it's ready :-)

I had my 28 week appt a few days ago and all we did was listen to his heart and do the glucose drink/blood work. No physical exam.
