37 weeks, still no name

Lindsay

I’m 37 weeks today and we are having our second girl. My husband and I can’t agree on a name. With our first, it wasn’t even hard, we named her Norah and both loved the name. This time around we have been talking about it since Labor Day and neither one of us like the other person’s names. I told him I liked feminine, romantic, meaningful names. When I asked him if there’s a style or theme or anything, he said he just either likes or doesn’t like a name, which makes it hard for me to keep in mind his preferences when I’m brainstorming. I know we have 3 weeks left (maybe more if she’s late, or less if she’s early!!) but I also want time to connect to this baby as whatever we name her.. “nest” on the name a bit. I also want to start referring to baby sister as whatever her name will be to our 2 year old daughter. I’ve looked at THOUSANDS of names and have like 3 that I really love and a few others that I really like. I absolutely do not like the names he has suggested and we just keep going down these separate paths. How do we get on the same page?!? I really don’t want to be in the hospital trying to agree on a name last minute without even a short list of possibilities, and I want us both to love her name.
