For those of you who’s parents are still together

Okay I know I sound dumb but know that this is completely alien to me.

I was watching Lucifer and it was the episode where he tried to manipulate his parents into getting back together as some sort of revenge but when he had them dancing together he was looking at them like it made him happy to see them together romantically. His therapist said “are you sure this is about revenge?” Even insinuating that he may have wanted his parents to be together.

I guess I was born on this planet because I do know that people are upset when their parents divorce.

But for those of you who’s parents are inlove, does that make you happy? Does that fulfill you in some way?

My dad was abusive and hit my mom when she was pregnant and almost prevented me from being here so yeah. I have no idea what that feeling is. Completely unknown to me.

However I am very curious about it. Very, I so want to know what that feeling is if it exists. I want to know what that is like.
