Absolutely not, the best way to heal is to take time to heal and work on yourself both inside and out, journaling, volunteering, finding a new perspective often comes from volunteering and realizing what you don’t have to deal with like cancer or homelessness or whatever other organizations you volunteer for. Self reflection, daily affirmations, exercise, yoga, screaming into a pillow, etc.￼

Depends on your headspace. I’m sure in the moment rebound sex is gratifying but when that’s over it’s over and then you’re back to where you started.

Temporary satisfaction, at best..if you can even get there mentally. A breakup can not be forgotten with a physical relationship with some random new person, its just going to make things more messy... You need to be focused on yourself and not involving others as a fix, because a hookup wont fix your heartbreak, no one can help you truly move on but yourself- YOU are the solution..Loving and learning about yourself and what you need and want for your future, keeping yourself busy, surrounding yourself with friends, etc.

Just because I fuck another person has absolutely no bearing on how I feel about the first. 
I'm polyamourous by nature, and when I fall for a person, I fall for them for years. Now choosing to be with that person is a whole other story. I may well love a person & know better than to be with them.
