What are you doing Thanksgiving?

What will you be doing this year for the holidays
If you are social isolation due to covid how do you fight winter blues

I'm eating with the only person I've been around.
And I've been sad for 20 years, I can cope with this like an absolute champ unless I go around ppl- then I have panic attacks. 
So here are some ways I like to cope/things im doing to enjoy the holidays: 
-I'm writing blog posts about my recipes and crafts
-I do a lot of diy and craft projects 
-I read
-I journal & drink water first thing in the morning 
-I keep a realistic attitude and remember to be grateful for what good can come from things, even if things are bad. (Like, they have these vaccines that may be ready soon; no matter what anyone says, the world will not be like this forever.) 
-Let go of stuff you can't control. Like maybe yell about it on the Internet, but not every day until you have a nervous breakdown.
-Plan ahead when possible. It cuts down on stress. 
-Plan to do things that feel fulfilling to you and things that make you happy
-I've been doing a lot of baking & thinking about how i will deliver the few presents im giving this year- like i could send people some treats or cards I make, that's festive, and kind of a fun way to do things as we cannot get together. 
-being adaptable is crucial. Instead of seeing things as "cancelled" one could just think "this year, they are different." And give yourself the opportunity to be creative with how you celebrate safely. With every closed door, there's an open window and all that.

I flew to my family’s house and we are all gathering like normal.

We are isolating because my son tested positive for covid. I took him in a few days ago to get tested because he had a headache 🤕. Kinda shocked, got the results today. 
It was always on the news... now it’s in my home. No symptoms right now tho

Staying home with my boyfriend and having a small meal. 
We deal with not seeing our families by being happy that not being idiots about a global pandemic means our families will still be alive to celebrate with us next year.

Well my husband is on night shift, which is 2pm-7am. And I live across the country from any family
So I will be home alone, watching the parade, baking a pie, and trying to keep myself busy. My husband wants me to wait on doing a Thanksgiving dinner for when he's not on nights, so I won't be cooking anything else right now

Just me, husband, toddler, and pets. Will zoom call my sisters and their kids as well as my parents but we are all solo this year. Too much risk

The normal, my family never did big thanksgiving it’s always just been parents, sisters, and my brother. No other family members so nothings changing for us other than my oldest not being able to come because she lives in a different city and can’t drive down here cuz her new job

Zoom call during dinner since 2 family members are quarantined and have the virus :(
