Itchy scars

I know that scars itching are generally a sign of healing. However these surgical scars are from a major surgery I had in 2012. They have been constantly itchy and it’s now starting to feel hot to touch. Should I be worried that my MRSA Infection is coming back? When I was in the NICU I had mrsa in my bones. And then major surgery/reoccurring infections in 2012. (I accidentally autocorrect to stomach infection idk wtf happen there) Should I be concerned and should I see a doctor? I have taken allergy medications thinking g maybe it’s that but it’s done nothing. I also feel like lotion has made it worse
