Tracking ovulation after stillbirth

My husband and I lost our son at 27 weeks just 7 weeks ago. We were upfront with my doctor in how we didn’t want to wait to try for another baby and she told me as long as I had one full period, it would be okay to try again. I ended my first period about 4 days and I’ve been taking ovulation tests every day. They have all been negative so far, which I assumed they would be since I haven’t been off my period for long. For anyone who’s suffered a MC or stillbirth and started trying again right away, we’re you able to track your ovulation like normal? And can an ovulation test show a positive result right now? I’m very eager to get pregnant again because we were so close to bringing home our first baby and it was ripped away from us. I feel so robbed. We just want to have a family😓
