Do you always go to salon to get your nails done ?

There acrylic sets are so expensive!! I was thinking to maybe do it on my own?? Lol 
I’ve watched some YouTube videos and idk I feel like I’ll suck at it but it’s much more affordable then salons lol

My nails grow long naturally so l just use a dip powder kit at home. Super easy and much more affordable.

I went to cosmetology school, so I learned how to do nails. I do my own acrylics on myself. I’d rather go to the salon to get my pedicures tho. No matter how much I practice I can never get my toes to look as good as when I get them done at the salon 😩

It’ll definitely take a while to learn but my knowledge has saved me and my sisters money. And it became a passion of mine.

I bought an LED light, gel polish, and all the stuff that goes along with it.   It neither looks as good nor lasts as long as the salon, but I'm happy with it.

yes. i don't want to spend time learning to do it myself when i can do other things bc ik i'm gonna be horrible at it for a loooong time LOL. i don't get acrylics anymore but when i did they weren't too bad, about $50 ($35 for a set + tip).
