Clomid help

This is my first cycle of clomid . I took cycle day 5-9 and today I’m on cycle day 16 still negative ovulation test . I’m ovulating regularly without clomid . I usually ovulate between cycle day 18 to 20 but my doctor said with clomid you could ovulate soon . we been ttc from 4 months after miscarriage and i also have mild pcos so pregnancy is not happening my doctor gave me clomid to try but I’m super nervous because I’m having tons of cramps everyday but always negative ovulation test . Please help me out I’m taking test twice a day .
