feeling like a financial burden to my parents?

Amanda

I am 20 years old and I live with my parents still, my dad and stepmom. I’m on my stepmoms health insurance with her work still. I only have a part-time job, and go to school online full-time, so I really don’t have the means to be supporting myself with my bills and my parents do, very thankful for that. But, when it comes to my health and my bills, I feel like I’m just a burden for asking for things. For example, I went to the dentist today, and they suggested a night guard to help with my TMJ/grinding in my sleep and the movement of the my teeth. Well it’s going to cost $298, and the insurance is covering a lot of it already. I feel like a burden to ask them for this, but it’s like why should I If these are things they are supposed to be doing for me?😔
