Croup

Baby was diagnosed with croup tonight, he’s almost 2, how did he get it? Has anyone ever had their baby get diagnosed with it?

I noticed his voice was raspy, didn’t eat, not much wet diapers & had diarrhea twice yesterday so I took him in & im glad I did. If I hadn’t his croup probably could’ve gotten worse to where he’d have trouble breathing. Idk I searched it up, it worried me. I’ve noticed he’s been sleeping longer & more often, I plan to stay with him each time he does. 💞 He did get steroids at the hospital so hopefully that’ll get him better quick! He also got swabbed for covid, hoping that comes back negative. I have an interview tomorrow morning as well, should I call & reschedule since I’ve been told to isolate with him?
