Girls name or boys?

I really like the name Eden but prefer it for a boy. Last name will be Archer, i'm thinking Eden James Archer?
What do you ladies think? Most people say they like it but as a girls name. I have already chosen the name Eloise for a girl and can't get this idea out of my head now!

Eden is a dominant female name. I wouldn't do that to a boy. But, to each his own.

Personally not a fan for a boy. I agree many names are heading toward Unisex but this one is too female for me. But do what you like! What about Edison?

I have a male friend named Eden, it suits him. I think giving him strong, masculine middle names like James and Archer will help.

Personally I don't think any name is slated towards a specific sex anymore. I say just name your baby what you want.
