Carseat

So I'm not due till the end of the month but I'm a FTM and I'm trying to get everything settled. I have no clue if my fiance will be able to leave the room at the hospital and come back or not when I have her. Should we bring the car seat into the hospital with us when we get there just in case? Or leave it in the car? I know they'll want to check it and do a car seat test and all that so I don't want it to be an issue if it's still in the car. Maybe I'm just overthinking things?
