Accutane

Hey everyone! 
I’m looking to get on accutane to help with my acne scaring, I’m turning 24 and I just have had no help with anything I’ve used and there’s been a lot over the years. 
Has anyone had luck with accutane and acne scaring?

The best thing to do is speak to a dermatologist and find the best option for You.
Mine put me on Ro-Accutane antibiotics and Yaz(Yazmin) prevention pill which is also good and helps with the skin.
The only thing that you Must do is get an additional form of contraceptive.
If you fall pregnant, while using the medication, you'd either give birth to a deformed/ special needs child (for lack of better words) or you might have to abort.
I had Yazmin pills and the IUD inserted to make absolutely sure I didn't fall pregnant while using it. It's very strong, but also affective. It cleared my acne in less than 6months. Good luck!

Accutane is for acne not scarring and its a very powerful drug with lots pf side effects thatshould be used only as a last result.
For scarring you should use tropical tretinoin or otc retinol, aha's and rosehip oil.
Also consider treatments like microneedling and lasers

I have taken accutane before and it helps with acne, but not as much for acne scars. Taking vitamin E supplements (my dermatologist was big on that) and applying vitamin C serums will help with the acne scarring.
