Do u have to get covid tested while pregnant

Just found out I’m pregnant. Jw if they are going to covid test me at some point ?

In my area Midwest, my OB said the hospital I will deliver at does them before delivery. Some other hospitals only do it if you have symptoms so i would call the hospital you plan on delivering at and ask them your policy. By the time you deliver policy may change depending on the rate of new cases so maybe call closer to deliver date

In Cali (bay area) they are requiring us to take a covid test prior to giving birth

They have been before delivery. Some places you can decline the test but if you do you may have to wear a mask the entire time including when you’re pushing because you’ve given them no reason to believe you don’t have it so they have to treat you as though you are positive.
Getting the test isn’t a big deal. It’s not like it’s going to give you Covid, just reveal if you have it and a nose swab will be far from the most unpleasant thing you experience that day anyway.

Depends on where you live.  I'm in Washington state and hospitals in my area will test the mother ehen you're admitted for labor. I also got one during pregnancy because I developed a low grade fever, stomach upset and chills. We were pretty sure it was just a stomach bug but tested just in case.

Depends on how the cases are where you live,  hospital policy ect ...but with more confirmed cases the odds are you'll be asked to have one 
That being said.. I had my daughter back in may and I wasn't tested, wasn't asked to be tested
