Cellphone time

How do you all go about time on your phone vs time together at the end of your day or on weekends?

I make an effort to put my phone away when we get home so that I can give my daughter my attention and spend time all together. My boyfriend often has his nose in his phone and when I bring it up, he says I’m on my phone too so I shouldn’t say anything. I do go on my phone, but I will try and wait until my daughter is either watching some tv at the end of the evening or in bed- I don’t sit there in front of her playing a game, and if I do pick up my phone, it’s to do a quick search and then it’s away again. I’d just like us to spend what little time we have together at the end of the day being present and not hiding behind a screen.

How do you all feel about this kind of thing?
