Daughter is terrible at keeping secrets

I’ve always told my 6 year old that she can tell me ANYTHING. That she doesn’t have to keep secrets from mom or dad. So we had a hurricane come by a couple months ago that knocked out our power and short circuited our oven and it hasn’t worked since but we thankfully got a toaster oven a couple christmases ago that came in handy because we couldn’t afford to replace it right now.

Anyways my daughter and I were in the car last night and she goes “I know what Gigi (my mom) is getting you for Christmas.”

“Oh yeah? Well I think it’s supposed to be a secret.”

“I know but I don’t like keeping secrets from you. Dont tell her I told you but she’s getting you a new stove”

😳 “uncontrollable laughter”

At least all those lessons stuck 😂😂
