Would you let your friend do this

So I went out and bought Christmas presents for my 2 friends and their babies. My best friend (whos also friends with them) came over to hang out and I showed her the presents. Then she suddenly asked if I would put her name on them. I was confused because she told them and i that she was going to get them gifts too. I thought she meant she split the cost with me and I add her name to the cards. So I told her the price that I paid for everything and what it would be if she gave me half of it. And she looked at me and said “no i mean just put my name on the gifts”. I asked her why and she said she just didn’t know if her dad would let her spend the money on them and that she has stuff she wants to buy for herself (also she’s 17 I’m 19 btw). I told her I didn’t know if was comfortable with that and she got upset saying that I should just let her because we’re best friends so it might as well be from both of us anyways. But the idea of having someone else’s name on a gift I bought just doesn’t sit right with me. But maybe I’m being dramatic? Idk.

Should I let her put her name on my presents or tell her no?
