I shouldn’t have to go in..

So I work at a retail store in the mall and I was originally scheduled to work 1pm-9pm today but the past month I’ve been in the hiring process for a much better, stable job and on Wednesday they finally sent me my orientation invitation. Orientation is today from 9am-6pm and it’s virtual. My manager wasn’t in on Thursday for me to let him know so I let him know first thing yesterday that I was unable to come in on Saturday and he told me to let him know if I can come in after my orientation but for literally like 2 hours. I let him know this morning that I was unable to come in afterwards as I do have post work to do for the orientation and I will be a bit drained from sitting in a 7-8 hour virtual session. I proceeded to look at my schedule for the rest of the week and he put me on the schedule for 7pm-10pm tonight after I told him I was unable to do that plus I don’t even have a ride today. I would never just not show up to work but that is wrong after I specifically told him I couldn’t after he asked me.
