Thoughts on “social media influencers” making millions of dollars? Lazy or clever? For example, anyone who knows what tik tok is, dancing or making 60 second long skits. There’s a 16 year old maybe you’ve heard of her- Charli Damelio. Multimillionaire at 16, for 15 second long dances. I feel like I’m SUCH a karen (my worst fear) but HOLY SHIT, there’s surgeons, and doctors- studying their asses off for 8-12 years of schooling, accumulating tons of debt, working 5, sometimes 7 days a week, making half, or even less than half of what these teenagers now a days on social media are making. It’s all silly to me. Do I think they should be paid for what they do - ABSOLUTELY. But do I think that the money is excessive for what they do, absolutely. And yes, I do believe it is a job.
