When will you start potty training?

This doesn’t seem like something we should be able to predict unless our kids are showing us they are almost ready. It’s their timing

We get the occasional pees and poos in the potty, but she isn't showing the readiness. I trained my first at 20 months and it only took a couple days, but she was showing the willingness and readiness. I figured we will try once a month until she finally engages and let's it happen 😬

When he gets interested in actually pooping and peeing in the toilet. Right now, he likes looking at the toilet, he thinks the water is to play with, and gets excited when we flush down our “poop” Cheerios. He knows that he can potty in there, because he tells us “poo” when we flush our Cheerios. He also goes to the bathroom when he is pooping cause “poo” = bathroom. Now we may be creating a bad habit of throwing Cheerios in there but 😅

We started working on it at 18 months. He’s diaper free except nap and night. Working on that now

After he turns 2 because he will be in a classroom where they do potty training

We potty trained at 14 months. So glad that is behind us! She still wears a diaper at night, but is fully in panties sitting awake times.

We have a potty for him and he will go and sit on it. Recently he has been pulling at his diaper and pointing at the potty, so we will put him on it or let him go and sit on it. He hasn’t done anything, but we have started exposing him to it. But I don’t plan to start potty training until after his Birthday or even until the summer because I have a feeling we are going to see behaviors start to regress once his little sister is born next week.

Definitely after he turns 2 in March or I may wait until summer. To be honest he isn’t showing signs he’s ready yet so I’m not in a hurry.

Mine is doing most poops on the potty. Hoping it stays that way. Starting to talk to her about training her to pee on the potty. Not necessarily trying hardcore to get her fully trained but we've definitely started!

When he gets an intrest in it.  I keep trying to have him tell me if he pooped.  Hadn't worked yet.  It's gonna be rough in June with a new baby so whenever we can.
