How to finish college with a baby?

I am 19 and 7 weeks pregnant. I really want to keep my baby, my boyfriend is not very supportive though but my parents are supportive of my decision to keep my baby. My biggest concern is how I will continue college with a baby. I am only in my 1st of a 4 year nursing program. School is very important to me and I want to be able to get my degree and provide a great life for my child. Any moms who are in school right now? Will it be manageable?

Believe me I know the struggle! I'm 16 and 6 months pregnant, Junior in high school taking all of my core (English,math,history,chemistry) classes! it's so hard but definitely possible. if it wasn't for my wonderfully supportive mom I wouldn't be able to do it honestly. Focus on the support & positivity!

There are a ton more mothers in nursing school than you think! They can do it you can do it, it takes determinated and hardwork and dedication!!! You can do this!!! It wont be easy but always think of the end and how much happier you will be with that bigger paycheck for you and your baby in the end!!! Good luck!!! Im ttc and in nursing shool, if i have one than i am more than ready to tackle that challenge !!

Not sure how much I will help ,I don't have a child yet but I am 18 and in my first year also this semester ends next week and I've missed 3 weeks of school because I've been so sick. I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow, I'm due June 16th now so I felt it would be best to just do online for spring,since my school has online courses as well and I'm probably going to do online until I go to grad school honestly. I know it's not going to be very easy but it's going to be worth it once you get your career started. Hope all goes well for you.

I'm im college and I still went to school this fall semester at 18 weeks (my second trimester). I just finished the semester last week at 34 weeks (third trimester). I'm taking the next semester off which is spring because I'll be giving birth next month around the time school starts and also to take care of my baby. I'll be going back to school next fall semester.

One Idea is look into childcare subsidy/assistance and see how quickly you can apply, sometimes they'll push up students on the wait list if there is one. It should help fully cover or partially cover daycare 🙂.

I'm in college pregnant with my first, but not enrolled in a program which definitely makes things more difficult. I am slowly going to go to school online starting with one online class and adding more as I get more and more used to being a mom
