Working moms with newborns

So I am at the cusp of my career, I love what I do and I’m really good at it! I don’t want to quit. But, I’m also 6 months pregnant and my husband and I can’t seem to agree on what to do when the baby arrives. He would rather I say home with baby (money is not an issue); and I would rather not put a new born in daycare. Leaving baby with hubby is absolutly out of the question! Though he’s a great human with MANY great qualities....I wouldn’t leave my dog with him for more than a day🤷🏾‍♀️.

Also, we don’t have family close by.

Is there another option, besides me being a stay at home mom or putting my baby in daycare that I’m overlooking? Did any of you super moms decide to leave a career you love and become a stay home mom after meeting baby? Please share your experiences
