Or is it a little awkward when you’re getting your ultrasound done and the tech is intently doing their job but there’s that time of silence before they get to the engaging part. Literally me right now. I’m about to fall asleep.

No not for me, I ask about their day and make general small talk or talk about any concerns I had.

Nope not for me. By the time i finished my first pregnancy i had ultrasounds every month and knew what to look for for bad signs. Im not overly social and didnt need them to talk to me. I just enjoyed the silence and enjoyed the ultrasound
