Possible induction today 😭

Hey guys, I just wanted to update on what’s going on right now with me. I’m 37+2, due January 10th.

Yesterday morning I started having pains in my lower right back, but I didn’t think nothing of it until it became worse as the day progressed. At around 11pm, the pain became unbearable to the point where I couldn’t take it anymore 😣. So hubby took me to the triage at the hospital and it turns out that my right kidney has shrunken a bit and there was stuff on it, and there was debris in my bladder, possibly from broken up kidney stones but they aren’t sure. So they admitted me in and told me that for baby’s safety and mines, they may or may not induce me! 😭 I’m super scared, not just because of what’s going on with me, but of the inducing. They say it’s worse case scenario because they don’t want to induce me, but if they have to, they will. Great thing that I already had my bag packed but I just feel like everything is happening so fast! 😭. One moment I was fine and then the next, I’m in the hospital possibly getting an induction. Sorry for the long post, I feel like we’re family here, so I wanted to give you an update on what’s going on currently.

P.s. - hubby is really pushing for the induction because he wants to see his son as soon as possible.

Update: they’re keeping me at the hospital for further monitoring and to give me antibiotics because I might have a kidney infection and the debris in my bladder. From there, they’ll see where to go, either to send me home or induce. So baby might be a Christmas baby!
