When my partner buys me gifts...

My husband is the type to mostly nail it. I'm kinda easy and dont want much but a honest marriage, loyalty and loves me and the kids. To be truthful I love to give gifts even more. Even just something small because I know sometimes it can mean the world to someone at that moment.

For my birthday my husband researched for gifts that would pamper me and that was safe for a pregnant woman. He was so thoughtful and well thought out. He bought me a really expensive foot massager...I’ve used it maybe 5times since July.  He truely thoughtful and I wouldn’t have it any other way but even with hints, he’s way off.

I always give my good “hints” essentially say what I want lol. And he picks up on things I complain about but may not justify getting a nicer thing myself. I honestly also get more joy giving other people stuff than getting it though. Just getting to spend the time with the person and know they wanted to do that too is enough.

For Christmas this year, my SO, my mom and I were talking and she asked what we plan to do for my son’s clothes once he’s here. I told her I would wanna get one of those cube storage things. My SO hopped online and ordered it 😂

We aren’t really into gifts, but he has a list I made to choose from so he gets it right. There is no reason to try and fail. I’m picky and pretty minimalist and will get rid of something if I don’t like it or won’t use it. No reason to just throw money away 🤷🏼‍♀️
