Not married

My boyfriend and I have been together for 9 years- he has a 10 year old son & I consider him like mine.

We are not married but have discussed it and it’s nothing we feel rushed into - I used to dream of having a big wedding but I don’t feel that way now..

This morning/ the dr I work for ran into me in the break room and asked “ when are y’all going to get married” and basically lectured me on why I should get married and how we should be one with Christ.

Which I understand that but now I can’t shake this anxious feeling. Like he really got into my head and I can’t stop feeling like I’m living my life all wrong 😑
