Where’s your baby napping?

My ten week old won’t nap any longer in my arms or in her pack and play in our living room because it’s too noisy and bright. So I’ve been trying to put her down in her bassinet but with their wake windows being so short, I spend all day trying to get her down for naps and going back up to settle her if she wakes up. Her big brother is LOUD and the white noise machine can only drown him out so much. I have NO idea how I’m going to get my baby to nap once my husband goes back to work. I can’t leave my toddler unattended all day And he’s too loud to bring with me to my room to get her down nor does he like to leave her without throwing a tantrum. Also, with her naps being interrupted or short at times, it’s throwing off her nursing schedule so she ends up snacking...

Swing, arms, or in the boppy on the couch.

My 7 week old naps in a bassinet in the living room and sometimes her swing as long as I don’t intend to nap as well. Best thing was take my moms advice and behave as we did before she was there. Husband is the same volume he’s always been on the computer in there, if I have to vacuum I do so. We still have a Bluetooth speaker playing white noise near her most of the time that way there is always a common noise no matter where we go or where she has to sleep but she can sleep through me cleaning the house, neighbors being loud,, tv going, husband yelling at his computer 😂. My sisters and I could sleep anywhere and it’s lookin like my kid is on the same track. I’m not sure if that would work for everyone though and the down side to that is she sometimes had trouble sleeping if it’s too quiet so when I forget to charge the speaker and it dies my phone or tv show gets taken over until it’s charged .

Our LO naps in her baby k'tan carrier or in the car. She sleeps really well in the bassinet at night,  but won't stay asleep in it during the day. We are working on creating a schedule and then transitioning to the bassinet from there

She naps in the living room either in her swing or lounger. I always have the tv or some kind of loud noise with lighting so that way she’s used to it and knows itsonly nap time. For bed time I take her into the room that is darkened with white noise.

For awhile it was his swing or on my bed. But for a few weeks I couldn’t get him to sleep in his bassinet so I’m trying to get him use to sleeping in there again
