Vitex causing longer periods?

Hello ladies. I started taking vitex consistently about 4 weeks ago. I noticed a huge difference in my PMS symptoms, way less cramping and virtually no PMS breakout. However my boobs hurt earlier than usual, and they still hurt now on CD7 slightly.

I am taking it because I believe I have a luteal phase defect. It is typically 10-11 days. I want to lengthen that. I read you should take it daily for the first few months then take it starting CD5.

I started my period 2 days early this last cycle, and my normally 5 day period has extended to 7 now. Light bleeding all day the last four days or so, and I never had a day of heavy heavy bleeding.

Just curious if this happened to anyone? Hoping to have a vitex success story but it seems to be messing with my period. Thanks ❤️
