Question ladies would you feel a certain way if you come home and your partner asked you why you didn't call before you came home? Are maybe I'm just being sensitive to things

Depends on your relationship, really.
If you normally do then he's probably just wondering why the routine changed.
If you never do that then it's weird, but howwwww he does it is probably the most important thing

Idk sometimes I tell my husband to call me when he’s coming home just so I know he’s driving safe but that’s just me

I typically like my wife to call before she comes home so I can make sure house is clean dishes clothes etc.... It can also be used as a safety check when driving... Don't be paranoid if he doesn't give you a reason to be, if he gave you a reason to be paranoid then seek marriage counseling, if yal aren't married we'll he's just a roommate you had a kid with and something needs to change good luck 💫💫

So you normally call on your way home, then he ask why you didn't call this time and you got upset because you think he's hiding something? 
What if he thinks that something was wrong or thinks you're hiding something since you didn't call him when you normally do. . . 
My husband usually calls on his way home and if he doesn't, it's because something is happening at work or in his family. I ask "why didn't you call?" Because I'm genuinely interested in whats happening in his life. Sometimes he tells me that he had a rough day at work and wanted to reset before he brings that energy home. If he reacted because I asked that, I would think he's hiding something. Just throwing my perspective out there

Since you normally call him he probably was just confused why you didn't this time. I do the same when my fiance comes home without calling. He always does so when he doesn't I worry that something is wrong or if he's in a rush and I need to help find something so he can go back to work.
