Clingy Toddler- Help!

My son has always been super clingy with me. While sometimes it’s sweet, other times I just want to pull my hair out because everything is always Mamaaaaa. My husband tries to distract him which sometimes works but I’m by far the one he wants 99% of the time.

How do other moms deal with this? My husband tells me I should be more patient in these instances and I try but sometimes I feel so suffocated!
